-What is Control Temp Packaging made of?
Our box consists of a corrugated shipping box and a two piece pad set. The pad set contains mineral fiber that is made of spun igneous rock. You can find more information about the materials used in our box on the environmental page (Environmental Page).
-Is Control Temp Packaging reusable?
Yes! Control Temp Packaging holds up very well to multiple uses. Gel Packs are also reusable and can be frozen and thawed hundreds of times. For more information about reusing boxes

-How do I dispose of Control Temp Packaging?

-What sizes do you offer?
You can see a list of the sizes we regularly make here (Box Size PDF).
Most of these boxes are available in all thicknesses of insulation. As always, if one of these boxes does not fit your needs we are more than happy to work with you to develop a custom size for you. Please contact a sales representative for assistance with developing a custom size as well as current pricing on our
boxes.
-Are there different thicknesses of insulation?
Yes! We offer 3 thicknesses: 1", 1.5", and 2".
-What size Gel Packs do you make?
We offer 8 ounce, 12 ounce, 16 ounce, and 24 ounce. They are sold by the case.
-I already have my own boxes, can I buy the pad set only?
Yes! We are happy to work with customers to make pad sets for boxes they already have. We do ask that customers send us a sample of their box so that we can ensure our pad set fits the box properly.
-I want to use USPS or UPS flat rate boxes, do you make pad sets for their boxes?
Yes! You can see more information about these pad sets here (page coming soon).
-Can you send me a sample?
Yes! We think the best way for our customers to understand our box is to see it! Please contact a sales representative to ask for a sample.
Can I have my boxes printed?
Yes! You can see some examples of printing here (page coming soon). We are happy to work with you and use
your logo or art work on our boxes. Please contact a sales representative to ask about printing our
boxes.
-What is the minimum order?
We ask that customers order each size in a minimum of 25, and in multiples of 25. Customers may order less than 25 but there will be an additional surcharge for each size that is ordered in
quantities of less than 25.
-I need to buy one box. Can I purchase just one?
Yes! If you are looking to buy just a few boxes we are happy to assist you. Please contact a sales representative (contacts) for more information on buying small quantities and one time
orders.
-Are the boxes and pad sets kept in stock?
No, each order is made to order.
-What is the lead time?
Because orders are made to order there is a two week lead time from January through October on all orders regardless of size. November to December we have a 3 week lead time. Please contact a sales representative (contacts) for information on lead times for truck load orders. There is an additional charge for rush orders.
-Can I pay with a credit card?
Yes, we accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.
-Do you make dry ice?
